Designed and built a working handheld biofeedback heartbeat sensor that reads a user’s pulse and vibrates the pulse in their hands. Originally created for Traumatic Brain Injury patients to help reduce stress in recovery. Incorporated electronics using Arduino into the building of the device. Utilized 3D modeling and digital fabrication to build the handheld device.

Traumatic Brain Injury patients draw comfort, power, and strength from within themselves. By listening to their own heartbeat, they are reminded of the miracle of their survival, which motivates them to keep recovering. Their heartbeat serves as a source of reassurance, reminding them that everything will be alright, and trusting their inner strength is key to their healing journey.
